Bridal Prep at Falcon Manor
Dawn and Billy got married at the stunning Falcon Manor in Settle. Dawn got ready in the spacious bridal suite upstairs before the ceremony with her bridesmaids. It was so lovely seeing Dawn with her 5 month old daughter on such an important day, and I’m sure they will cherish the photos of all the little moments of them together for years to come. There was an emotional reveal with Dawn’s dad which was so lovely to see before they headed down to the ceremony.
Ceremony in a Stately Home
The ceremony room was beautifully dressed by Creative Venue Styling. The decor really brought the outside in and reflected the rural surroundings of Falcon Manor. The light in there is particularly beautiful, and I loved photographing in there. The couple said their vows and were officially hitched! We headed outside for the confetti, and they were not messing around with the amount! Dawn chose pink tissue paper which always floats amazingly for photos and it made for some great images.
Reception and Speeches
After we took some relaxed couple shots outside the venue, we went back inside and moved onto the speeches. One of the most memorable speeches of this wedding was the father of the bride speech. You could really tell how much love he had for his daughter as he spoke to all of the guests. It’s worth mentioning the wonderful cake too that matched all of the decorations and had a beautiful dark green and white colour scheme. The guests then all had something delicious to eat, and then went outside for drinks on the lawn. The weather was absolutely perfect for this, and the sun beamed down and all of the guests as they admired the venue. It was then time to a party and Dawn and Billy talk to the dance floor for their first dance. Their daughter soon joined and it was a beautiful way to end the day. Hope you enjoy the images!
