Luiza and Dom’s Sale Town Hall wedding took place on a very sunny day in May. Sale Town Hall is a great spot to get hitched as it’s not far from Manchester city centre and is also so close to the met stop in Sale. All their loved ones gathered outside in the sun and then were called into the room to watch them say their vows. The room in Sale Town Hall is lovely and was a pleasure to shoot in. There’s tonnes of natural light in there with the large windows and the high ceilings definitely give a feeling of grandeur.
After the newlyweds said their vows, the guests chucked a whole load of confetti over them as they left Sale Town Hall. The couple and all their guests all made their way over to Walkden Gardens, which is only a couple of minutes drive away, also in Sale. It made a great spot for family photos as well as some relaxed couple portraits. I personally love the old Dovecote (where they used to keep pigeons!) which makes for a great backdrop. Any kind of historical building always peaks my interest and makes me want to include it in the images. Of course their dog was the star of the show, and I had to include him in the photos too! He was a total star and real model material.
After an interlude at the brides families house, everyone made their way into Manchester City centre for the reception at Lock 91, right on the docks. The venue have a room you can hire at the top of the building which is like a large attic with a bar. The couple wanted something relaxed and chilled so that they could just party the night away – and that they did! Hope you enjoy the images.
Claire was lovely and very profesional from start to finish. She accommodated us and our special situation and helped make our day extra special. The work was also exceptional, made sure to get pictures of everyone and got them edited and sent to us in record time. Very happy with everything!
