Handmade Touches at the Hidden Barn at 94

Anna and Will’s Knutsford wedding kicked off with a morning full of creativity. Anna’s bridesmaids worked together to craft their own bouquets the morning of the wedding! Watching these come together and capturing those candid moments as they got creative was a great way to start the story of their day.

The ceremony and reception were held at the Hidden Barn at 94, where Will was ready to greet everyone. Fun fact: I first met Anna and Will at the Hidden Barn’s open day about a year before their wedding, so it was brilliant to see it all come together here. The venue provided the perfect mix of rustic charm and a relaxed atmosphere for their guests.

One of the most memorable parts of the day happened in the Hidden Barn at 94’s courtyard, where guests gathered for a lively confetti throw. With over 50 people packed into the space, the energy was high, and it smelt lovely thanks to the dried petals. It’s not every day you see a courtyard transformed into a colorful whirlwind.

Afterward, we headed to Tatton Park for couple portraits. As frequent travelers and fans of the outdoors, Anna and Will were right at home in this peaceful, scenic setting. The wide-open spaces and natural surroundings gave the photos a relaxed, genuine feel that perfectly suited them.

This Knutsford wedding wasn’t just about the big moments, it was also full of thoughtful details. Guests had a laugh over a cardboard cutout of Anna and Will’s dog, and Anna’s dad (a former pastry chef) created an incredible wedding cake that I’m sure tasted amazing.

Their first dance was another standout moment. Anna and Will chose “Baby It’s You” by London Grammar which was such a great song choice. Watching them enjoy the moment surrounded by family and friends was a great way to end the day.

Claire has been absolutely amazing from first contact to after the day. Claire was in regular contact with us throughout the process, giving us tips and making sure we had all the info we needed. We had full confidence right from the word go and she made everything so easy. We had a call about a month before the day to go over final details and Claire went above and beyond. She even helped us sort out our timings for the day and provided a sounding board for some ideas. On the day itself Claire was fantastic!

She slipped right in and most of the time, you wouldn’t even know she was there, but at the same time gave helpful suggestions and direction when needed. Neither of us have had professional photos taken before but Claire put us right at ease. Claire has completely gone above and beyond, even staying considerably later than agreed to make sure we had photos of our first dance when our DJ was running behind, which was so kind and appreciated! The day after we were sent a preview gallery, which we weren’t expecting at all. The photos are complety stunning and absolutely exceeded our expectations. Claire perfectly captured the day, and we would recommend her to anyone!
