Tying the Knot at Dorfold Hall
This past weekend, I had the absolute pleasure of both attending and capturing Jess and Lewis’ stunning wedding at the historical Dorfold Hall. It wasn’t just a job for me; it was a celebration of love among friends. Another key point is that my fiancé also had a role as one of the groomsmen!
Planning Their Wedding from Afar
Jess and Lewis, currently based in Singapore, managed to pull off organising their wedding while simultaneously being thousands of miles away. Battling time zones and logistical gymnastics, their accomplishment cannot be overstated. Their resilience and attention to detail really showed through every element of their special day.
A Feast for the Senses – Catering at Dorfold Hall
With vows so touching they threatened to turn us all into sobbing messes, (and a bridal look so stunning it could launch a thousand Pinterest boards), the ceremony was a smash hit. Jess in her dazzling gown paired with a bold red lip and a veil that went on for miles was nothing short of runway-worthy.
And let’s talk about the food! With Lewis being a renowned chef in Singapore, expectations were Michelin-star high, and oh, did The Cheshire Dining Experience deliver! Each dish was like a culinary sonnet, rich in flavours and creativity. It’s always bloody lovely to get fed at a wedding even when I’m working, so being a guest for once felt really special.
Let the Music Play
Post-wedding breakfast, as we danced off the calories from dessert, the evening unfolded under the most gigantic disco ball known to mankind. Their first dance was to Casio by Jungle which was a great choice and got everyone on the dance floor. Me and my fiancé (now husband at time of writing!) gathered around the fire outside and watched on as everyone danced the night away under the disco ball. What a perfect ending to a wonderful day!
