Last summer, I had the privilege of capturing Georgina and Freddie’s big day at the breathtaking Eden at Broughton Hall. It’s a true gem nestled in the heart of Yorkshire’s stunning countryside. As a Yorkshire wedding photographer, nothing beats the excitement of exploring a new venue. Trust me, the countryside views of Broughton Hall did not disappoint!
A Magical Venue at Eden Broughton Hall
Broughton Hall is nothing short of magical, featuring a vibrant chapel set against lush, rolling hills. Adding to that, the ceremony was presided over by none other than Christopher Angel — a priest who truly lives up to his name.
The chapel was packed with friends and family who had gathered from far and wide to celebrate Georgina and Freddie’s love story. Every corner was filled with warmth, love, and laughter, making it a joy to capture those special moments. I personally love the balcony and the blue painted ceilings.
Mariachi Band from Ceremony to Reception
Once the vows were exchanged and confetti was thrown, that’s when the celebrations truly began. Guests were treated to an unforgettable experience as the fabulous @losmariachibrosuk led a lively procession from the chapel all the way to the reception at Eden at Broughton Hall. Everyone was dancing along to the tunes and it really got everyone in the mood for a cocktail!
As the day transitioned to evening, the most perfect golden hour arrived. It provided the perfect light for some couple portraits in the surrounding hills with all the sheep! The soft, amber glow of the Yorkshire countryside created a dreamy backdrop for Georgina and Freddie’s photos, which I’m sure they’ll cherish forever.
Yorkshire Weddings at Broughton Sanctuary
This was my third wedding in a row this summer in the Skipton area, and each one has been unique and filled with unforgettable moments. Being a Yorkshire wedding photographer means I get to work in some of the most picturesque settings, and Eden at Broughton Hall is now one of my all-time favourites. I would love to shoot here again soon!
Claire was absolutely amazing both on the run up to our wedding and on the day itself. We really didn’t want to spend a lot of time doing formal photos and she was so accommodating, getting all formal shots done in record time (thank you!). The pictures are beautiful and they really capture the fun vibes from the day, thank you Claire!
