UK wedding photographer based in Yorkshire. Sharing weddings I have the privilege to capture along with tips for couples planning their special day.
Today I’m sharing with you a lovely engagement session I had on Saturday evening with Paul and Terri on the beautiful estate of Harewood.
We started off at the Seven Eggs – an old folly in the middle of the forest. It actually used to be a favourite spot of Princess Mary when she lived in Harewood House. You can actually get married here too (just contact Harewood Food and Drink Project).
Just behind the Seven Eggs is the ‘Pleasure Grounds’ where you can see the grand Harewood House in the background. I actually met Paul and Terri when I was photographing one of Harewood Food and Drink’s events here, so it was lovely to do their engagement shoot right where I met them!
We then made our way down Church Lane to take some images with the amazing views across North Yorkshire. We stopped to have a look at the deer and then made our way into the forest, taking some super atmospheric portraits. They were naturals and the pictures looked so magical!
As we walked back up, we were blessed with golden hour which is exactly what we wanted – even if ‘golden hour’ only lasted about 10 minutes!
Have a look through and enjoy the images.
