Holly and Iain’s wedding was so special to me – not only because not only because they get married at The Hovels (which is a stones throw away from Harewood House), but because they are also two of my closest friends. The wedding was also catered by my partner Josh who is the chef at Harewood Food and Drink, so that also made it even more special to me. Plus, non biased, the food was amazing.
Holly and Iain got married and Bilton House in Harrogate which is always such a lovely intimate venue in Harrogate where I have shot many times before. I have seen them re-arrange their wedding date many times like lots of other couple due to the pandemic, so it was so special to finally see them tie the knot.
The Hovels offers a beautiful atmospheric venue space for couples who want something a little different. Due to the glass walls and ceiling, The Hovels is the perfect way to show off the environment. Being in the middle of the beautiful Yorkshire country estate that is Harewood, right next to Harewood House, there’s a lot to show off about. You can be sat eating your meal and there will literally be red kites flying above you, and highland cows surrounding you (depending on the time of the year).
Holly and Iain also had 16 different pies for their desert table – sounds like couple goals to me. Plus I got to bring home some left over key lime pie…yes please.
