A Stylish King Street Town House Manchester Wedding

Ericka and Ben’s wedding at King Street Townhouse was such a special one for me to photograph. We actually used to work together years ago at Gap in the Trafford Centre before I left to study photography in Leeds, so being there capturing her wedding day felt like a real full circle moment. It is weddings like this that make being a Manchester wedding photographer feel extra meaningful.

Ericka got ready at King Street Town House itself, which is ideal for a relaxed, stylish city centre wedding. Meanwhile, the groomsmen headed for pre ceremony pints at The Vine Inn just around the corner. We also made the most of some classic Manchester portrait spots, including the green tiled exterior near the venue and the iconic Peveril of the Peak, which always adds character to wedding photos in the city.

Manchester City Centre Portraits in Between Showers

The weather kept us on our toes, but we managed to sneak away to St Peter’s Square for some portraits before the rain came down. Just as the heavens opened, the groomsmen appeared with umbrellas like absolute heroes and we dashed back to King Street Town House. Rain on a wedding day in Manchester just adds to the story, and honestly, the photos always feel extra romantic.

While Ericka and Ben enjoyed their wedding breakfast, I grabbed some food at the bar and can confirm it is well worth a visit even if you are not getting married there. The small plates were unreal and the whole space has such a cool, intimate vibe that works perfectly for a King Street Town House Manchester wedding.

Rooftop Views and a Packed Dance Floor

As the evening rolled in, guests filled the dance floor thanks to the brilliant Radio Edit. The energy was high all night, and we finished the day with photos up on the iconic rooftop terrace overlooking Manchester. It is one of my favourite features of the venue and such a perfect way to end a city wedding.

From old retail colleagues to wedding day magic, this one really meant a lot. King Street Town House is such a gem for anyone planning a Manchester city centre wedding, and I would go back in a heartbeat.
