Chapter Hall at Northern Monk Leeds Wedding

James and Tansy’s wedding was definitely one to remember. I may have only been there a few hours, but never the less it was packed full of great moments. I had such a lovely time photographing it especially as it was a wedding that was different from your norm, thanks to James and Tansy for being super cool!

The venue they chose for their beautiful, laid back ceremony was the one and only Northern Monk Refectory in Leeds. Just on the outskirts of the city centre, it has a brewery on the first floor, a bar/canteen on the second, and event space on the third.

Due to this wonderful setting of a brewery, there were several cheers’ made during the ceremony, meaning everyone would systematically take a swig. So yeah, it was 100% a winner for me.

The room itself was gorgeous, and each table was named after different places that they had both been to, for example where they met (a basement in Hyde Park), the first holiday and so on. Such a simple yet beautiful idea.

All the food was done by my good friends over at Harewood Food and Drink. Everything was made to share around the table and invite conversation and togetherness. It was such a feast for the wedding guests, plus it looked and smelt amazing.

Of course, my favourite bit was the wedding cake… made of CHEESE. Which was AMAZING. Absolute wedding goals. Anyway, I’ll stop rambling so you can lay your eyes upon all the lovely details of this wedding. Enjoy!
