This summer I finally had the chance to shoot a wedding at the absolutely stunning The Victoria in Sheffield and it did not disappoint. This venue had been on my dream list for a while, and when the team at @events_at_victoria recommended me to the groom Ross (who happens to design their website!), I couldn’t have been more thrilled. Having previously shot at The Mowbray and The Chimney House, I already knew I’d be in love with the Victoria’s industrial charm, mid-century modern furnishings, and impeccable attention to detail. As a vintage and reclaimed design enthusiast, this place felt like home.
Samantha and Ross have been together for 15 years, and their wedding was a beautiful reflection of their lives. Full of warmth, laughter, and their favourite people. Stealing the spotlight for a moment was their gorgeous greyhound Manny, who had everyone (including my husband Josh, who was filming content with me) completely obsessed. It was such a relaxed and joy-filled day, with the buzz of a nearby festival adding to the electric atmosphere. The sun shone bright, the slight breeze in the air was perfect, and it really couldn’t have been a better May wedding.
The Victoria Sheffield wedding venue is something else. The upstairs space, once a chapel, is bathed in the kind of soft, golden light that photographers dream about. It felt sacred, warm, and simply magical. The food? Genuinely unforgettable. Sitting down for the wedding breakfast surrounded by that light, great company, and gorgeous styling made for a perfect moment. It’s no wonder this place books out fast.
