One thing I love to capture during prep is your invite suite, so make sure to bring a copy on the day! This could be your save the date and invites. I love to make a flat lay with these and any other details you have like jewellery, shoes and perfume. 

As your wedding photographer, I will make sure to capture these small but significant moments, because they are what make your day personal. Whether it’s the subtle glance between you and your partner or the heartfelt speeches that bring tears to your eyes, these details will be beautifully preserved in your wedding photos.

Keeping Group Shots Fun and at a Minimum

Let’s face it, group shots can be a bit tedious.

Standing around, trying to wrangle everyone into position, and smiling until your cheeks hurt – it’s not exactly the most enjoyable part of your wedding day.

As your wedding photographer, I promise to make the group shots fun and, most importantly, quick!

I’ll bring my arsenal of dad jokes to keep everyone entertained while we capture those obligatory family wedding photos. No need to worry about missing out on the fun – we’ll get everyone organised and laughing in no time.

And don’t worry about long lists of group combinations – we’ll keep it to a minimum and make sure to prioritise the most important shots.

Why You Don’t Need To Give Your Photographer a Shot-List

Who needs a shot list when you have me as your wedding photographer?! The last thing you want me doing while all the moments are unfolding in front of me is pulling out a list and checking it. 

Obviously, if there are some very specific things that you want to be captured, make sure to let me know. But please remember that I do this for a living, and I always make sure to capture everything that you would normally expect, as well as unexpected shots too. 

You don’t need to provide me with a shot list as this limits creativity and spontaneity. Forget about those rigid, pre-planned poses and let me work my magic. 

I’ll capture every fleeting moment without needing a checklist. Trust me to unleash my creative freedom and bring out the best in every shot. You’ll be amazed at the moments that we’ll capture together.

I promise you’ll have a wedding album that truly reflects the essence of your special day, so no list is required for your wedding photos!

The only list that would be needed from you is your group shot list should you want them, and I always send over a template for this to make it easier and simpler!
