The day started with bridal prep at Chevin End Guest House which is only a 5 minute drive from the venue. The room had some great views of the landscape and a balcony which was great for portraits. Furthermore, getting to The Chilli Barn was a breeze once we were finished with prep. With it being so close, it was super easy for me to get to the ceremony!
Ceremony & Portraits
One of the most enchanting parts of their ceremony was the inclusion of readings from The Lord of the Rings. Therefore Jen and Calum’s choice added a touch of magic to their wedding, making it truly unique to them. Following the ceremony, we journeyed to Otley Chevin and Surprise View. We captured some great couple portraits against the backdrop of Yorkshire’s stunning landscape. Adding a touch of nostalgia to the day, both myself and the happy couple travelled there in a Liberty Campers blue VW camper van. The retro charm of the van added some colour to the portraits and looked great!
Reception
The upstairs space at The Chilli Barn was adorned with bunting and set a great tone for the wedding reception. The food was absolutely delicious and it was so lovely that I got to sit at the table with the guests! Surprisingly beautiful weather allowed the couple to move their speeches outdoors, taking advantage of the sunshine.
In conclusion, their day was a perfect intimate celebration that was filled with personality and colour. Hope you enjoy looking through the images!
