Heaton House Farm Macclesfield Wedding

Tori & Matt’s day at Heaton House Farm was something special! Tori and her bridesmaids got ready onsite in the stunning bridal suite. There is so much room in there for hair and makeup, and there’s even a balcony with the best views of Macclesfield. The balcony was a perfect spot for us to do a reveal with the bridesmaids once the dress was on too! I particularly loved the William Morris theme (anyone that knows me knows everything I own has a Morris print on it!) and the printed fabric hangers to match.

Outdoor Ceremony with views of Macclesfield

The weather was threatening rain but thankfully we all got through unscathed as the rain clouds held out the whole time we were outside. The outside space is so stunning and there was so much room for me to move around and get different angles without disturbing anyone. One of the best parts about the ceremony was when Tori’s bridesmaids held up signs that said ‘Finally! It’s about bloody time!’ which I thought was brilliant. The couple tied the knot and we went round the front of the venue to do the confetti shot, which was using petals from flowers Matt had bought Tori over the years which she had dried out all in preparation for their big day. How thoughtful is that?!

Reception at Heaton House Farm

The guests then moved into the main reception room where there were so many details from Tori & Matt’s story. As big gin fans, all their flowers were in empty gin bottles, as well as sloe gin favours for all their guests. There was a great energy filled entrance as they came in dancing while everyone was swinging their napkins in the air. They even had custom Quality Street boxes with their names on since their second names are now both Street! The day was ended beautifully by a ‘bouquet toss’ from Tori, which turned out to actually be two separate bouquets made by her florist for this moment. There was a fake toss which then was revealed as Tori turned around to give a bouquet each to her two guests who were recently engaged. Such a lovely idea!
