Francesca and Chris’ wedding in Sheffield was a delightful blend of cool vibes and cozy elegance. From the stunning ceremony venue at The Chimney House to the warm and inviting reception at The Mowbray, their day was so much fun to capture and left me wanting to go back to both venues immediately! I love shooting weddings in Sheffield as it’s not too far from me in Leeds and there are so many cool venues to choose from.
Francesca and Chris chose The Chimney House as the backdrop for their wedding ceremony, and I am so glad they did. Located in Sheffield, this historic venue exudes an undeniable coolness that instantly captivates guests. As soon as you step inside, you’re greeted by a breathtaking interior adorned with magnificent old bricks and lots of plants and candles. The rustic charm and industrial elements create a unique atmosphere that perfectly complemented Francesca and Chris’ style.
After the portraits, the couple and their guests moved on to The Mowbray for the reception. This charming venue, with its long tables adorned with flickering candles, created an atmosphere of warmth and intimacy. The food at The Mowbray was absolutely delicious, I got a plate myself and I would 10/10 recommend.
One of the best parts of the day for me was the cardboard cutout of their beloved cat, Pudding. As animal lovers, they wanted to include their furry friend in their celebration, even though Pudding couldn’t be physically present. The cutout became an amusing and endearing prop, bringing smiles and laughter to both the couple and their guests. It was a perfect reminder that weddings are a celebration of love, joy, and the things that make us unique.
