The Tithe Barn Bolton Abbey Wedding – Paul & Terri

Paul & Terri’s wedding was an absolute joy. Tithe Barn is a venue that consists of a huge barn overlooking Bolton Abbey itself. there is also a covered outside area with fire pits too so your guests can keep warm! They have a huge open kitchen at the back where you can see the grills and flames going (and if you know me, you know I’m all about food).

One of my fave parts about this venue is the huge chandeliers because they use real candles for all of them. It’s rare you see that these days, and it gave such a medieval yet cosy vibe and made me feel like I was attending a proper feast. Everything about photographing in here feels grand with the huge ceilings, and the floral pieces adorning them at this wedding did not disappoint.

Terri arrived in an old school VW camper van, all the while Paul was shedding some tears and waiting patiently at the front of the aisle. It was so great to capture the moment as Terri’s dad walked her down the aisle.

My favourite shot at Tithe Barn has to be getting Bolton Abbey in the background. But top tip – do be warned that if you want to actually go down into the Abbey and take pictures on your wedding day, you will be charged £500 by Bolton Abbey itself (not Tithe Barn). So probably best stick to the view from the venue itself if you want to save those precious pennies! Honestly the view from the venue is more than enough in my opinion as we got some great shots from up there which you’ll see below.

Anyhoo, I think I’ll just do what I do best and show you some photos…hope you enjoy the images!
