A Dream Styled Shoot at Harewood House

Photographing this styled shoot at Harewood House felt incredibly special to me. After years of living in Harewood and working at the estate, I used to walk through these rooms imagining how I would photograph a wedding there. I would picture couples standing in the grand spaces, light pouring through the windows, and wonder what it would feel like to finally capture a wedding inside this iconic Yorkshire stately home.

So being part of this incredible styled shoot felt like a dream come true. Seeing such a talented team bring their vision to life inside Harewood House was nothing short of magical. From the stunning dress to the incredible florals and thoughtful styling, every detail worked beautifully within the historic setting. Stately homes have such a unique atmosphere and photographing inside them always feels incredibly inspiring.

With its sweeping staircases, grand rooms and historic architecture, it offers endless opportunities for elegant portraits and beautiful editorial style imagery. This shoot made the most of the building’s incredible interiors while highlighting the artistry of the suppliers involved. Styled shoots like this are always such a great opportunity to collaborate with talented creatives in the wedding industry. The energy on set was wonderful and it was such a pleasure capturing everyone’s work. I also shot some black and white 35mm film during the shoot, which I am very excited to get developed. There is something about film photography that feels particularly fitting in a venue with so much history.
